Patrick Clancy provided a minute-by-minute timeline of his errands that evening, including a trip to CVS to pick up a child’s stool softener and a stop to get dinner. He said Lindsay called him back while he was inside CVS, understood the reason for his visit, and calmly approved a generic substitute medication.

Attorney Shari Karney noted that these seemingly mundane details—text messages, phone calls, dinner orders, and the timing of Patrick’s drive—may be critical for prosecutors to prove that Lindsay Clancy was lucid and understood her actions when the children were strangled with exercise bands.

Patrick also testified that Lindsay told him she heard a man’s voice telling her that if she did not act then, she would "lose her chance." He added that Lindsay had never previously disclosed hearing voices or experiencing psychosis.

A legal expert suggested Patrick Clancy’s detailed account might offer prosecutors their clearest framework yet to argue that Lindsay Clancy was deliberate and criminally responsible at the time of the killings.

The trial continues amid courtroom exchanges and the presentation of evidence, including prescription pills prescribed to Lindsay Clancy. Jurors have been reminded to base their verdict solely on the evidence without being influenced by sympathy, anger, passion, prejudice, or pity.
