Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that his relationship with US President Donald Trump remains "fine," dismissing reports of discord between the two leaders regarding ceasefire efforts with Iran and Israeli military actions in Lebanon.

In an interview with Fox News on July 6, 2026, Netanyahu lauded the United States, saying, “America has been a tremendous force for good, and without America, there won’t be any democracy in the world, and there won’t be any freedom in the world.”

Netanyahu also addressed his agenda during an upcoming visit, focusing on his opposition to the transfer of F-35 fighter jets to Turkiye. He argued that providing Ankara with these jets or their engines would disrupt the power balance in the Middle East, which he said is maintained by Israeli air superiority and America's posture in the region.

“We are closely following the Israeli administration’s attempts to dynamite the deal,” Netanyahu said, adding that the "current war-addicted Israeli government must not be allowed to drown our geography in the smell of gunpowder and blood again."

Recent developments include at least seven Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in Gaza over the past 48 hours and a large funeral procession for Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei. Additionally, US President Trump hinted that Netanyahu may visit the United States as early as next week.
