Wimbledon’s fourth round continues on Monday with notable matches featuring rising Filipina tennis player Alexandra Eala and American Taylor Fritz.

Eala, 21, has had a breakout season with victories over Elena Rybakina and Coco Gauff. She gained significant attention after defeating defending champion Iga Swiatek at Wimbledon. Now, she faces 2024 Wimbledon finalist Jasmine Paolini. Despite having beaten Paolini in straight sets earlier this year in Dubai, Eala remains cautious, telling reporters, "It will not be an easy match here either."

Paolini, ranked world number 17, praised Eala’s game, noting her strong performance on grass courts and her semi-final run in Berlin last month. She said, "I think that the game of Eala's fits very well to grass... I think she's a very dangerous player here."

In the men’s draw, Taylor Fritz aims to reach the Wimbledon quarter-finals for the third consecutive year but faces a tough opponent in Kazakh player Alexander Bublik. Bublik expressed his focus on physical readiness, stating, "I have to take care of my body and I hope to deliver a great performance."

Meanwhile, Bulgarian player Grigor Dimitrov, returning to Wimbledon after an injury ended his 2025 season, shared a measured approach: "Right now, we're just living in the moment," he said following his victory over Matteo Berrettini.
