US: Multiple dead in shooting at In-N-Out Burger in Idaho

Multiple people were killed and others were injured after a gunman opened fire at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant in a city in the northwestern US state of Idaho.

The shooting unfolded near a busy shopping area in Twin Falls where hundreds of people were present, police chief Matthew Hicks said in a news conference.

Police were still trying to determine the shooter's identity and motive.

Local media broadcast video footage from the scene showing what appeared to be a young man carrying a long gun outside the restaurant that had only been open for a week at the Twin Falls location.
