Talk show host Bill Maher mocked liberals on Monday, saying many of them are constantly panicking about President Donald Trump’s surface-level antics and behavior that do not really impact their lives.
During a discussion on his "Club Random" podcast with British comedian Jack Whitehall, Maher jokingly pointed to a framed list of all of Trump’s insults toward him as a "great artifact of history." Maher had brought this list of nearly 60 insults to the White House and had Trump sign it when they met for dinner in March 2025.
Maher offered backhanded praise for Trump for having allegedly tried to prevent him from receiving the Mark Twain Prize at the Kennedy Center last month, suggesting he was flattered to be taken so seriously.
"I didn't think it was ever going to happen," Maher said of receiving the award.
