Gas station and travel center chain Buc-ee’s announced on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026, that it will focus its expansion efforts on “conservative, business friendly” states. This decision comes after the company faced pushback for pursuing trademark infringement lawsuits against small business owners whose logos allegedly resembled Buc-ee’s.

“We have a lot of opportunities,” Buc-ee’s said, noting that while they are building in many locations, they will prioritize states that align with their business approach.
