China has called on the public to report suspected procurement violations within the People’s Liberation Army Rocket Force (PLARF) as part of an ongoing anti-corruption investigation involving the country’s strategic missile branch. According to a notice published on Monday, August 25, 2026, on the PLA’s official procurement website, suppliers, bidding and tendering agencies, evaluation experts, and relevant military personnel are encouraged to provide information on suspected irregularities related to the Rocket Force’s procurement activities.

The authorities are seeking clues about potential problems across all stages of procurement, including purchases of goods and services, construction projects, and food and medical supplies. This encompasses various procurement processes such as requirements drafting, evaluations, contract performance, and online purchasing. The notice did not specify a time limit for when the alleged violations might have occurred.

Reports can be submitted via a dedicated telephone line or by post until November 30, 2026.

This public appeal follows a similar request made in December 2025 concerning procurement irregularities within the PLA Air Force, highlighting a broader effort by the military to address procurement misconduct.
