All five of Connecticut’s House members are running for reelection in 2026, but only one faces a contested primary. Democratic Rep. John Larson (D-Conn.) is competing against former Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin and two additional candidates for the Democratic nomination.

Larson has secured endorsements from Connecticut’s Democratic Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Coons. Bronin, meanwhile, has received support from former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

Larson was last seen leaving the Capitol following the final votes of the week on Friday, December 12, 2025.
