The FBI has issued a warning about ongoing cyberattacks targeting municipal water systems in seven U.S. states. In Minnesota alone, over 30 water systems have been compromised. A senior law enforcement official told NBC News that these attacks bear all the hallmarks of Iranian-backed hackers.
Despite these assessments, President Trump dismissed the notion that Iran is responsible for the cyberattacks.
