A 1968 Chevrolet Camaro, featured in the seventh installment of The Fast and Furious franchise, is currently up for sale and on display in a town southeast of Adelaide, South Australia. The car, driven by actor Tyrese Gibson who plays Roman Pearce in the films, has been owned by its current possessor since early 2025, when he won it in a lottery and has since been driving it around Adelaide.
The vehicle, which has been modified to resemble a 1967 model, is believed to be one of only five built specifically for Furious 7. It is registered in South Australia as a left-hand drive car, consistent with its original American specifications. The owner invested approximately $25,000 to comply with Australian registration regulations.
Ben Finnis, general director of Collectable Classics in Strathalbyn, is assisting with the sale. He described the public interest as "overwhelming," noting heavy attendance over the weekend.
The Camaro represents a piece of Hollywood history, as Furious 7 was the last film to feature actor Paul Walker before his death in 2013; the movie was completed posthumously with his brothers as body doubles.
While there is potential for the car to be exported back to the United States given its provenance, those handling the sale expressed a preference for it to remain in South Australia or Australia.
