On Tuesday afternoon, July 28, 2026, the funeral service for the late Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) was held at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. President Donald Trump delivered remarks at the memorial, which was attended by prominent world leaders including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Ahead of the service, Netanyahu and Zelensky met with President Trump to discuss the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East. Graham, who passed away earlier this month at age 71, was recognized as a staunch defense hawk who advocated for increased aid to both Ukraine and Israel. He also championed legislation imposing harsher sanctions on Russia and supported several of Trump's domestic initiatives, including the SAVE America Act.

Earlier on Tuesday, the late senator was honored during a ceremony at the Capitol Rotunda. A second funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in Graham’s home state of South Carolina.
