Authorities in California are actively searching for two 9-year-old children, Solomon and Marozhina Sukonick, who were allegedly abducted by their father, David Sukonick, earlier this week. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has expressed concern for the children's well-being and is urging anyone with information to come forward.

The children were last seen around 8 p.m. near the 1000 block of West Avenue J-8 in Lancaster, California. Investigators report that Solomon and Marozhina were traveling in a black 2011 Lincoln Town Car with California license plate SOLOYST.

Marozhina Sukonick is described as a 9-year-old White girl, approximately 4 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 90 pounds. Both children are reportedly 9 years old.

According to the New York Post, David Sukonick shared a photo of the children on Facebook on July 13. Authorities continue to investigate and seek public assistance in locating the children.

Additionally, there is a related report of a man accused of killing his partner who was arrested in Mexico nearly two years after fleeing with their two children.
