Idanna Abignente, an 82-year-old Italian woman, has earned the title of the "World's Oldest Pole Dancer". She began pole dancing about 12 years ago after a friend of her son's opened a studio in Turin. Despite her age, Abignente performs moves designed for much younger women and continues to compete regularly, with no rivals over 80 years old.

Abignente shared, "I always win because there aren’t any other competitors over 80," and expressed interest in meeting others her age in the sport. She emphasizes that pole dancing is a demanding sport, "not one for the weak."

Known for her vibrant presence on Instagram, Abignente still rocks a two-piece outfit and hangs upside down on the pole, defying typical expectations for her age. She remarked, "I'm not sure how I got on the old lady pole dancing beat, but I'm here."

Her story highlights a unique blend of fitness, passion, and breaking age stereotypes.
