Boston police are investigating the discovery of a dead body found Saturday, July 19th, 2026, at a property owned by Conan Harris, husband of Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts. Police spokesperson James Moccia told CBS News Boston that officers were called to a house on Malta Street in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood at 1:52 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the person deceased. Moccia stated that the homicide unit is handling the investigation but did not provide further details.
A Boston police cruiser was observed outside the home Saturday evening, which was sealed off with red crime scene tape. According to city property records, Conan Harris is listed as the owner of the Malta Street home.
Congresswoman Pressley, a Democrat first elected to Congress in 2018, issued a statement through a spokesperson extending her "deepest condolences to the impacted family."
