Ukrainian drone strikes hit two warehouses belonging to Russia's largest online retailer, Wildberries, located in the Tambov and Moscow regions on Saturday, July 18th, 2026. According to Russian officials, the attacks resulted in eight deaths and 62 injuries.

The warehouse in Tambov, approximately 295 miles southeast of Moscow, suffered seven fatalities and 25 injuries. Another warehouse in Elektrostal, within the Moscow region, saw one death and 37 injuries. Moscow’s governor, Andrei Vorobyov, reported that eight of those injured in Elektrostal were in serious condition.

Moscow’s mayor stated that more than 370 drones targeted the Moscow region during the attacks, with 48 drones shot down overnight. Additionally, a Russian oil depot was struck by a falling drone, described as having "the most serious consequences."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky characterized the strikes as hitting "major logistics facilities" used to "supply sanctioned components for drone production and navigation equipment." He also noted that Ukraine had targeted locations in the Sea of Azov, the Black Sea, and Russian-annexed Crimea.

Wildberries CEO Tatyana Kim, one of Russia's first female billionaires, described the event as a "terrible night" for both Russia and the company.

Earlier in July, Kyiv claimed that nearly 43% of Russia's oil refining capacity had been disabled as a result of ongoing strikes.
