Trump Media & Technology Group, the owner of the social media platform Truth Social, announced on July 17, 2026, that it will launch a paid service providing Wall Street firms with high-speed access to its most influential posts. Beginning August 1, instant updates will be delivered from "the highest-ranking" accounts on the platform.

US President Donald Trump, who currently has the most followers on Truth Social, is a central figure on the app. Trump’s posts have historically caused sudden swings in global markets, particularly when addressing trade and tariffs.

Kevin McGurn, interim boss of Trump Media, stated, "Markets already move on Truth Social posts," and added that the new service is expected to generate a steady profit for the currently loss-making company. The platform, launched in 2022, also noted that some firms have been copying its data without permission for months.

Investment expert Mark Spiegel from Stanphyl Capital Management commented that including the president's posts in the paid feed would be "unprecedented." He also warned that companies relying on the latest headlines could be "at a disadvantage" if they do not pay for quick access, as they might miss out on posts that could move markets.

This move appears targeted at financial traders seeking rapid access to market-moving news, potentially creating a new revenue stream for Trump Media.
