Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker Charles Snowden has been suspended for the first three games of the 2026 NFL season, according to the league’s transactional wire on Tuesday, July 15th, 2026. An NFL spokesperson confirmed to Fox News Digital that the suspension stems from a 2024 DUI arrest, which Snowden, 28, settled earlier this year by accepting a plea agreement.

Snowden will miss the Cowboys' season opener against the New York Giants, their home opener versus the Washington Commanders, and a subsequent home game against the Baltimore Ravens. Despite the suspension, he remains eligible to participate in all preseason activities, including the three preseason games. The suspension will commence once NFL rosters are finalized at 53 players.

Snowden has appeared in only two games and did not play during the 2022 or 2023 regular seasons.

Separately, former NFL Pro Bowler Marcellus Wiley was arrested and charged with domestic battery during the Fourth of July, as reported by Fox News Latest.
