Cara Delevingne has spoken candidly about her experience with addiction and sobriety, emphasizing that addiction extends beyond drugs and alcohol. In a recent interview with Playboy, Delevingne reflected on how her sobriety has changed her perspective on addiction, relationships, and the search for validation.

She stated, "everyone's addicted to something," drawing a comparison between the pull of smartphones and social media algorithms and drug addiction. Delevingne explained, "These things right in front of us are made to keep you trapped," adding, "The cycle of the algorithm—it’s not great, especially with things like drugs and even your phone."

Delevingne revealed during an appearance on Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast that she was using the party drug GHB daily before suffering seizures, which became a pivotal moment in her recovery. She recalled, "And I started having seizures and that's literally, [the 2022] photos were taken right after I'd had a seizure at Burning Man."

Her journey to sobriety has also sparked meaningful conversations with fans, highlighting the broader implications of addiction in modern life.
