Belgian forward Leandro Trossard has officially transferred from Arsenal to Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas on a three-year contract, with an option for an additional year, both clubs confirmed on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

The 31-year-old, whose contract with Arsenal was set to run until 2027, moved in a deal reported by Besiktas to be worth 18 million euros (approximately $21 million), payable in six equal installments over three years.

In a statement, Besiktas Futbol Yatirimlari Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. informed the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that an agreement had been reached with Trossard and Arsenal regarding his permanent transfer.

Arsenal had confirmed on Tuesday that Trossard was granted permission to travel to Istanbul to undergo a medical examination ahead of the move.

Trossard made 174 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal, scoring 36 goals since joining from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023. Last season, he scored six goals and provided six assists in 31 league appearances as Arsenal, managed by Mikel Arteta, ended a 22-year wait for the Premier League title.

Additionally, Trossard has earned 57 caps for Belgium, scoring 14 goals and representing his country at four major tournaments.
