Carmen Electra, the 54-year-old model and actress known for her role in "Baywatch," recently spoke with Playboy about the nuances of dating as one gets older. She addressed fan questions and offered advice to men on what to avoid when pursuing middle-aged women.

Electra emphasized the importance of appropriate communication, stating, "We do appreciate texting or calling appropriately." She cautioned against late-night invitations, explaining, "What you really need to do is make sure you don’t call her and say, ‘Hey, come meet me at a bar right now,’ when it’s midnight. That’s a huge no-no."

For women dating after divorce, Electra encouraged embracing youthfulness and enjoyment, saying, "If you are in your 40s, you’re still so young. You need to go have fun, keep having fun, and live your life."

Drawing from her personal experience, Electra has been married twice: first to NBA star Dennis Rodman in 1998, a marriage annulled after a few months, and later to musician Dave Navarro from 2003 until their 2007 divorce. She highlighted the importance of choosing a partner "that you love being with," as this is "definitely what's gonna keep the spark live anyway."

Electra first posed for Playboy in 1996 and recently revisited her Playboy roots at a red carpet event.
