A 31-year-old man in Singapore will be charged on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, for driving under the influence of etomidate, dangerous driving, and other traffic offences. The charges follow his alleged involvement in seven road accidents over a four-month period from October 2024 to February 2025.

According to police reports, the earliest incident occurred at about 7:55 pm on October 21, 2024, along Sengkang East Way. The following day, the man drove dangerously by veering erratically across five lanes on the Marina Coastal Expressway at around 9:10 pm.

On February 1, 2025, he was involved in two separate rear-end collisions—first at about 11 am along Punggol Way and later at approximately 5:05 pm along Dunearn Road towards Newton Flyover. The next day, February 2, his car overturned after colliding with a traffic light pole at the junction of Yio Chu Kang Link and Boundary Road.

On February 4, at about 12:05 pm, police said the man failed to keep a proper lookout and collided with the rear of a motorcycle along Simei Avenue. His most recent accident occurred at about 8 am on February 6 along Punggol North Avenue.

Police stated, “Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was involved in multiple accidents over a short span of time, and the man was arrested at scene,” adding that his driving licence was suspended immediately.

The man will face charges related to these incidents, including driving under the influence of etomidate and dangerous driving.
